Building true sustainability into a business is a blue collar job. While it is the
slick press releases and shiny solar panels that catch people's attention, creating
real environmental wins and healthier products is a roll-your-sleeves-up, knock
down, drag out kind of job.
That's because sustainability is about redesigning, dematerializing, digging, and
never taking "can't be done" as an answer. At method, we pride ourselves on fighting
the good fight where it matters, on the front lines; in the factories and fields.
Here are a few examples of some of the work we do, and have done in the past, to
make our products greener, healthier, more sustainable. We are far from done, but
one thing we know is this: getting dirty is the best way to fight dirty.
